At Papa Giraffe, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. We do not sell your information to third parties and do not intend on doing so. How do we store your information?
Most of our customer's data is stored on our website's database and/or on our encrypted hard drive that we keep at Papa Giraffe's office and in which only specific members of our staff has access to it. Any data that is not essential to us, as mentioned above, are stored for the legally required period in our databases until that period is over and are then deleted.
Papa Giraffe follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this as part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

Only Specific Members of our staff has access to our data, those members have signed a statement ensuring that the data observed/collected is confidential and will not be shared to the public.
Information of Minors
Papa Giraffe does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.
As of 2023, Papa Giraffe is providing students with a 30% student discount code, but to do so we request our customers to submit a photo of their STUDENT ID and upload it to our database. Due to the sensitive nature of this information; Papa Giraffe is taking the necessary precautions to ensure the safety of this information.
Papa Giraffe asks for a student ID and not a student transcript as it has less personal information on it. The submitted student ID is then checked by one specific staff member that will later on either approve or deny the request. If the staff member decided to deny the request, the document submitted will then be deleted from our databases. But upon approval we will be storing the document on our encrypted hard drive until the duration of the discount is over or the discount code has been used 3 (THREE) times; which ever comes first. The customer may request that their document(s) to be deleted even after having received their approval and discount code.
